Thanks, Pinky! Was the pic professional? Do you consider the 50,000 pictures for $4.99 at Wal-Mart to be professional? If so, I guess! It was taken about five or six years ago. I had just gotten my clown shoes, and I was beside myself with excitement. I REALLY wanted the shoes to be visible in a full-body shot. So the photographer had me lie on that dinky little table that they use for infant shots, and I had to scrunch up into a little tiny ball in order to get my shoes in the picture. It wasn't very comfortable, the photos turned out okay -- and you can see the shoes in the full-body shot.

You got some of those fancy-dancy shoes that cost an arm and a pro-nose? Maybe I will some day (and I'll be as excited as you!). Right now I just use some cheap white sneakers that I painted flowers on, and I glued on some mult-colored rick rack. Guess you turned some heads at Wal-mart when you got your pictures done! Did you have to break into your act to control the crowd? LOL

My Keds with the pickles painted on them served me fine until I saved up the bucks for the clown shoes, and your painted sneakers will too, Pinky.

Yes, there were a few people standing around the Wal-Mart photo shop watching my "photo shoot," but not as many as the last time I had my photos taken there. About 7 or 8 clowns from our club went together to have single shots and group shots taken. A crowd definitely gathered for that. I still use the older shots though; I like them better.

Sometimes at clown conferences they have professional photographers who do an incredible job. It would be fun to get a "real" photo taken someday. Sigh...add it to my wish list.

Just thought I'd jump in since you were talking shoes & photography... 2 of my favorite things! For my shoes, I've got a pair of $5 canvas shoes from Wal Mart. I used 4 colors of glitter fabric paint on & covered the whole shoe then used regular fabric paint to draw on them.

As for photos... I'm w/ you on the wish list! I think that would be so much fun! But for now, y'all have given me a great idea to set something up w/ a friend of mine that does photography as a hobby.

Harmony: Your shoes sound cute -- it would be fun to see them. In fact, wouldn't it be neat to have everybody post a picture of their shoes? (an idea for a new thread topic, I guess)
