Actually I tried this and it worked well, particularly with that metal plate in my head! Also was easier to get off than when I tried the Liquid Nails.

Willace's & Hobo Bobs hat fit my head so i can wear them normal Spookys had a band that i that gose around & under my chin

Sue's original hat was a miniture, that came with an elastic string, but instead of wearing the string around my head I tied it so it stayed tight in the hat and safety pinned it in place on the wig, just off to the side. Sally's is a cowboy hat that I do use the string to hold it in place. Sue's new hat falls off all the time and I use it as part of my routine.
