Since you are asking both how long does it take to get ready and how to remove the makeup, the solution would seem to be to not remove the grease makeup, but leave it on all of the time. That way, you will be ready in a moments notice.

I've used the hydo too, Bubba's Clown Supplies: clown makeup, comedy magic, Fun item, currently using the proface remover, they seem to be the same to me. Any vender that carries proface products.
The hydo is a water soluable [sp?] oil.
I pour about a quarter size amount smooth it all over quickly, then wipe off with a baby wipe, often only takes one wipe [the soft cloth types -- the cheep thin ones are rough on the skin]

I usually use baby shampoo and baby wipes to take off my makeup. The shampoo is designed to cut oils in the hair and it does the same thing with my makeup. I smear it around until I get a nice mess and then I have a designated washcloth that I wipe most of it off, rince out the cloth and gently wipe again. Then I use the baby wipes around my eyes.

120 grit sandpaper. Nothing else works nearly as fast.

Chappy, 60 grit cuts the time in half.
Personally, I use mehrons makeup remover lotion. Wipe it off with good quality baby wipes, and finish with baby magic hair and body wash.

I use a product called Albolene. Albolene Cleanser - The Makeup Comes Off, The Moisture Stays In.
You can get it at just about any drugstore. It takes me like 2 minutes to remove everything. You literally rub in on your face real good and then take a paper towel and wipe clean. It's great when you are on the road and need to come out of makeup. Did I mention that unlike other removers it leaves your skin hydrated!

On the Hydro bottle, I have noticed that the first ingredient (before some sort of chemicals) is, simply, "mineral oil." I wonder how plain old mineral oil would do in removing makeup. I might need to get myself some and possibly save a few bucks.

"Mineral oil," used for cosmetics, is usually labelled "baby oil." That's an old standby.
BTW - if they make olive oil out of olives and corn oil from corn, what do they make baby oil out of?

Heh, interesting. So hydro might just be little more than expensive baby oil? Still, it doesn't have the same texture or seem quite as thick textured. And whatever else is in there definitely offers an easier wipe away than baby oil does. Methinks we're going to have to get the mad chemist, Fitzwilly, to take this to his lab and analyze the chemical composure.
