Aha, Fitz, thanks, but the issue I'm having is that I'll need to pur prescrition lenses into the old frames.
Soonsoonsoon! We'll see how well Dottie does in tips; maybe she'll be able to afford her new glasses!
One way or another, I'm planning to hit up Fred's shop. maybe he'll have something. I think most dollar stores carry those sort of novelty frames too.....

Baloo, I get my work schedule tomorrow. If I'm off on the 4th, then we'll talk. If Pricilla is going to be there too, then I'll definately be praying for a day off on next Wednesday!

Speaking of which, my brother, sister-in-law, and I have decided to go to Mongo's for lunch.

Are any of you in any Minnesota Clown clubs? Do you go to Alley 19 "Minnesota Clown Days"? http://www.mnclownalley19.com/

Do yor know Fred from Twin Cities Costume and Magic? He teaches at Mooseburgers camp.

Hope you serve Cuban dishes. If not, they'll just have to go somewhere else, but you'll wish you had let them in.

Ohhh....I remember the Grimance costume! They almost put me in it, except the stupid thing was too big and too heavy for me. Ah, it pays to be small.

I've heard it's like walking around while wearing an oven and a blindfold. have fun!

I told my optician that I believe there's a market for eyeglass frames that are suitable for clowns. Think about it ... Bright colored frames with attached eyelashes!!!!! Funny! He wasn't interested but someone should do it!

Smile Any New News Ibimus?

I was just wondering how things were going. Is Dottie working out? Better yet, are you having fun?

I told Jim (my manager) that I was going to adjust my makeup a little bit, just to make sure that it's grill-friendly. Today I bought a few new costume pieces after work since some of my other stuff just won't work in that environment.

If Dottie is popular, then I may move up to hosting (y'know, greeting people at the door and seating them and such.) as Dottie. I told him that I am planning to learn how to make balloon animals this summer, so I think once I can do that (and will have to brush up on my close-up magic tricks....) he'll probably let me host.

Wahoooooooooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!
I love that my clown job will be the same as my regular day job. Just more fun.

So, I should be starting as Dottie within the next couple of weeks....I told him that I want to make a few costume and makeup adjustments first, just to be on the safe side, and then we should be good to go.

Ooh, that means I'll have to go get contacts, since I can't wear my glasses in makeup.

We have a crew meeting tomorrow night....if I can get Dottie all figured out and ready to go, then I'll probably go to the meeting as Dottie.

Ooh, I'm so excited!

Congrads, you have finally overcome that line between doing clown as a sideline and really making it shine in the work force. I'm personally hoping you succeed so the rest of us have a shot too, lol. Of course we can't all be as cute as you ;o) but we may make stride in the right direction with this new facet of clowning. I had a restaurant for 3 and half years just doing magic and balloons, and while I relaly enjoyed it I always though to be a greeting type person would fit me too, but to no avail since the restaurants seem close minded on this. A great way to establish a regular income when clowning is slow. Way to go Willy
