Child Advocate Clowning in the near future
It is looking like I will be entertaining for the local Child Advocates, who work with Child Protective Services. Not sure if the first gig will be this month or next since they are working on getting the Youth crime and safety awareness police officers too for the other month.

Finally
Got word today (after having given up on working with them) that they want me to entertain on the 17th for 10-30 kids of a wide age range. They aren't sure how long they will need me to work due to they also have Dare police officers in the works as well. Guess I better dust off the neglected props and oil the finger joints and get to practicing.
Hey since I know the officers from Citizen Police Academy, I might be able to set up working with them on some special programs. Speaking of the Citizen's Police Academy, our department holds these 15 week one night a week classes to educate the citizens just what they really do. (they do more than eat donuts.) If you get a chance to attend a program like this go for it. Much more eye opening than watching Cops.
