COAI offers a number of scholarships to help newer clowns afford a convention. With the room rate being the same for up to 4 people in a room, you can save a bunch there and make new friends at the same time. Tim is right is is easy to wrap up $1000 dollars in a camp or convention if you are not careful. Everything is so bright and shiny it is all so tempting. I usually don't take my wallet with me to the dealer room the first day or two until I have looked everything over and thought about how I might use it. Then I usually (although not always) work on a plan to buy what I want a little at a time. (Last convention I surprized myself with a three or four hundred dollar walk around parade prop that looked like I am riding a large duck. I will use it this summer, however it reminded me "Impulse buying Baaad, thinking good." I still like my duck.

Exclamation Open Invitation

I can't remember if it was this thread or another that a few of us talked about meeting for the Big Show and MooseCamp this summer. I just talked to Pricilla about our getting together and she extended an open invitation for anyone from Clown-Forum that comes to the get together at the Big Show. We are welcome to come back to the camp and participate in the after show party. Its a fun time with music and maybe an old Laurel and Hardy or Buster Keaton movie after everyone's energy gives out.

That's very generous of her.

Whether I'm able to shuffle off to Buffalo or not, anyone here who can (and particularly those who are nearby) ought to take her up on this offer. As a MooseCamp alumnus, I can testify to what fun that night is overall. Hey, you may even manage to keep Fitzwilly up late or make some interesting mischief with other clowns. (Though that balloon animal prank which some other guys were trying to get me in on never did manage to come off in the end. "If you would have stuck around long enough, we would have finally figured it out and had enough courage to get it done," I was told by them Sunday morning!)

Oh, how wonderful of Pricsilla!

I can't afford to go to camp this year, but I'm definately going to see the final performance...quite looking forward to that!

Should we start a list going of who is planning to attend Camp at some point this summer? Next summer?
