I'm finally moving out to Camano Island Washington for a street performers internship. I'll be studying under Reverend Chumleigh and doing a bunch of low man on the totem pole labor! FUN! Actually I am really looking forward to it. I'll be learning slack rope walking, how to gather and keep a crowd, some character development stuff and a host of other things from the Chumleigh Performing and Circus Arts School.
After the internship I'll hopefully be working in the brand new circus he's putting together which will be amazing. I think I'll be one of the only clowns in the ring!
My online time may be strange now but I will still check in as much as possible. Hopefully I'll still beable to drop in once a day or so to keep up to date with all you clowns!
Wow sounds fantastic, Jeremy! Keep in touch and keep us informed how it goes. Slack rope walking, tried it but never got further with it, it is great to do though.
Thanks everybody. Things are going well! Being out on the island (which is not really an island but more of a penninsula, sorta) gives me a lot of time to work on clowning. I've even gotten inspired to create a new incarnation of my main character. A chimney sweep and rat catcher based loosely on a victorian era persona. I've got some cool ideas for it but its a bit off topic so I guess I better blab about it elsewhere!
