As I understand it so far:

Mid afternoon Friday to mid to late afternoon. (I'm open until about 5p)

We can have an "official" Sat. evening something to allow for people coming in at different times on Friday.

Unless Nettie's alley has plans for an awards ceremony of some sort I don't know of any. My alley is too small and informal.

All right, at Tim's suggestion on Sunday afternon we will go and watch the snow melt. (Well maybe there is something else to do in S.B.)

Some ideas/concepts to try and organize what's on the table a bit, then...

Perhaps an (in?)formal kick off Friday afternoon with either a get together jam or even a special early bird sort of seminar of classes for a couple hours, if we happen to have the appropriate sort of speakers available for that kind of thing and requisite participation attendance.

Saturday all day might offer a mix of a few formal classes and open time for various types of jams/sharing followed by a Saturday evening simple dinner get together.

Friday and Saturday nights could provide movie showings (with cotton candy) for a couple of hours.

Swap Shop/dealers area for anyone who wishes to participate.

Sunday special optional outing (perhaps after noon to accommodate an activity without requiring hotel extensions?) Is a Sunday morning schedule of concern or conflict to Churchgoing sensibilities at all?

You know, my favorite type of weather is Blowing Snow (of which there ought to be plenty there.) I like it because Tom Skilling On WGN calls it BS on his snow map. So perhaps we can find some BS in SB!

Hey Fitzwilly--we could all go to Fun FX and PLAY WITH THE STUFF!!! on Sunday! My kids LOVE to play there. We'll clean up our mess too!
I'm SO looking forward to this. If anyone needs to camp out, I have a HUGE Amish house (with heat and lights) and we have 2 pull out sofa sleepers. Let me know! It'd be no problem. OR__we can split hotel rooms in South Bend. Girls--let me know--we could split a room.

Okay, kids, my friends at the Essenhaus (work) suggested we all go in clown garb to the Ice Skating park in South Bend and skate!!! That would be such a hoot!!! I'd get in touch with the newspaper and TV news, and we'd be all over the place. Let me know!!!
Also, Fitzwilly, if you want to get Gary Cole, I'd need to let him know soon. If not, no biggie--just thought it would be fun!
