We have a block of 5 - Doubles (that will sleep 2-4 adults) and 5 Kings (1-2 adults) these are NON Smoking rooms.

Right now, there are 4 ladies staying in a room, I am sure that we can split up to help out anyother lady that needs to share a room.

I wouldn't mind sharing a room with someone else ... it would be nice if we could get enough people to attend this so we could have 4 in a room, but we CERTAINLY don't want to have anyone stuck with a $200 conference room. The $200 is gone, poof, if we have 10 rooms.

It seems like there was a lot of positive feedback when it was first mentioned. It should be a fun fun time ... I always love to put faces with names ... so, let's really work to get the 10 rooms so there isn't any charge for the conference room. That room will be used for jamming and turning our trash into someone else's treasure. Now is a perfect time to get your clown rooms CLEANED OUT and buy some more stuff to replace it.

There should be a link up next week where you can register, but please let one of us know who is coming. We don't have any way of knowing otherwise, since this link goes straight to the hotel.

Also ... if you know anyone who MIGHT like to come, that would be a perfect time to get them to join Clown Forum. You know, the more clowns in one place, the better.

Suggestions have been made for what we're going to do at this event ... let's go over them again here on this thread. The old one kind of got buried.

For one thing ... we want to JAM and everyone is going to teach me a new balloon to impress others. We will also be face painting jamming. What else?

I hope Fifi comes ... I have never seen a car with a pool in it before, except when I bought one for my granddaughter when she was a baby and plopped it across the roof of the car. It was hard to swim in, though. No matter how hard we tried, the water would NEVER stay in there. I really want to see Fifi's car. Fifi, do we need bathing suits, or is this more like a shower effect? I just can't picture it.

Well, this is a plea from everyone to COMMUNICATE PLEASE. Tell us who is coming, who isn't, who wants to and can't, and who doesn't want to, but is coming anyway, and ... WHAT DO YOU WANT?

A "sticky" is a topic which is "stuck" at the top of a forum, so that it doesn't get lost and is immediately noticed by all. A thread concerning the "official" clown forum get together ought to be in a prominent place.

We ought to set up some way (beyond just mentioning it on a thread) that people can "officially" register for the get together.

Some of the suggestions have included various jams such as:

*balooning
*facepainting
*juggling
*magic

Did we also talk about a "running the gamut" type balloon event? (Where you make balloons for others who are acting out wild scenarios which one might face in real life clowning.)

We have discussed an evening social/simple dinner/welcoming event, a movie night.

Perhaps an opportunity for us to all get into makeup and costuming as a way to share advice and self critique would be worthwhile and fun.

I think Dan has offered to teach a class or two. One, in particular, he mentioned may be on pie throwing. There may be another instructor or two potentially available, depending upon who (and how many) we can get to attend.
