Oh, how ripe this is for a skit! That's mighty fine of you, Jitterbug.

We will just have to make sure you learn enough to make your money back this summer with the number of good gigs you will be doing.
You will be jamming at least part of the time with me. We are going to take your ballooning skills to another level. When we are done you will be able to understand why I think that balloons are ideal for restaurants and other places you want to increase your visibility.

As of today, there is only one reservation for this event, so to ensure that nobody was charged for 2 rooms, I have canceled our block of rooms. Whoever has made a reservation should make sure they cancel it. Now this is not to say that we won't have this get-together. Please watch for whatever Fitzwilly comes up with. I spoke to him today and we thought maybe a later date might be better, or he might come up with a different hotel and keep it for this date. Unfortunately, I won't be able to attend on this date either, so whatever happens, I hope you all have a great time. Maybe this is just the first time problems, and any future get togethers will have the bugs worked out.
Anyway, who ever has a room reserved, the number you can call to cancel it is (574) 277-9373.

I've been pondering whether a weekend in May might be better. It would certainly give us enough time to work on things and get the word out as well as encourage early reservations. The key, of course, would be to commit to it sometime soon and work diligently towards it, lest we end up in the same conundrum which exists at the moment, only a month out.
