A "clown gang" will be fun, but not so sure about the singing. Hopefully, by the end of the week, there will be several new Clown Forum members.

Thumbs up I'll be at UW-L Clown Camp

Howdy Pickles!

I'll be at Clown Camp again this June in LaCrosse. I personally love clown camp although I've not yet been to Mooseburger Camp. I'm sure there are pros and cons to each.

My goal is to eventually be able to make it to ALL of the trainings! Learn from MANY instructors.

If you have any questions about Clown Camp that I can help you with please give me a holler!

Sparky

Tonight, tonight, I'll be on chat tonight!

Actually, you WERE on chat last year from Moosecamp, right? Talk about a junkie.

I have some logistics to work out, but I will definitely look into it (those darn children are interfering with my hobbies again). If not this year, maybe next. Thanks for your invitation.

It's not likely that we'll attend this year - hopefully, we'll make it in 2009!

I have a question for you all....how many suitcases do you take? Do you take lots of clown costumes, and such? If I fly, I can't take more than one suitcase. I just can't maneuver through the airport with that much "baggage". LOL

At Moosecamp everyone is part of the Big Show at the end of the week so you probably would want to bring along your costume, however there are costumes available to rent (and it is only something like $15) if your costume takes up too much room in your luggage. There is a hobo night, which is really laid back and was created for fun, not to create stress for people. If you have room in your lugage and have an old work outfit you can throw that in, and then for hobo night just add a little dark makeup making you look like you were working outside all day. Other than that whatever normal clothes you would like to bring.

I just made the mistake of going to the Mooseburger camp website, and I have drooled all over my keyboard. Oh, man, I wanna go soooooooo badly.

I need your help. Somehow, I have to come up with a strategy to make this dream a reality. I don't know how easily I can convince Husband that this is a good use of family resources, especially since I have been excessively whining about his frivolous spending.

We have three kids, and although the eldest is old enough to watch the other kids during the day while I'm away at Moose-Camp, my absence would require Husband to take off a couple days from work to get kids to their summer activities. I should also add that Husband doesn't really like clowns (!!??I know this is difficult to fathom???!!), and although he puts up with my clowning and I believe is secretly amused by it, he in no way takes it seriously.

Okay, help me clowns. How can I get Husband to support me in this endeavor? PLEASE ADVISE!!!!

With the new skills and the improvements in you current skills you ought to be able to book more gigs. Also with your new confidence you ought to be able to land gigs as a non-clown artist, ones you wouldn't have been able to before.
