I think most know about Bubba, but If you don't and you can attend this..GO he's one of the best and you'll absolutely love it. Just had to add my 3 cents [inflation]

I'm coming from Oklahoma City LOL, it was coincidence that the conference was the same weekend that we had taken off anyway for a weekend trip......and hubby was like Iowa sounds fun! So, we're going. The kids are excited, they haven't been to Iowa before. They and hubby are going to hit the zoo Saturday while I'm learning.

Welcome to Des Moines!
The kids will love the zoo!
You will also be right next door to a BIG Amusement Park, Adventureland USA. Adventureland Amusement Park -> Offline. The site appears to be temporarily down but will be up soon, I'm sure. This should be their final weekend open to the public. The weekend weather here is currently forecasted to be BEAUTIFUL with a high both days 78-80 degrees and Sunny! What to bring?
Bring yourself, comfortable clothes and $$$$ to shop with (ha)!
No costumes needed for a Bubba University. There is a pool at the hotel we're using so you might want to bring a suit if you partake in that fun. Another fun thing the kids might enjoy that's free, the race track is very close to the hotel as well. Harness racing starts at 5:30 PM on Saturday. Kids are welcome in the paddock area right next to the track, but are not able to enter the building because it's a race track & casino. Please let me know if you need anything else!
