I just found out that one of my vaudeville plays WILL be produced in October! It isn't the French Cafe play that I was originally trying to fund and get produced a couple of months back (unfortunately that show is too long for this festival) but the committee let me pitch them some shorter story ideas and have given me a slot in the line up!
The festival is comprised of one act plays with a Halloween theme. I had scribbled some notes in my Moleskine last year which I used for the basis of this play and with some standards from my street act I've put together an outline for the show.
It takes place backstage in a dressing room between two vaudevillians preparing to go on stage and a ghost. My clown partner is arranging for a pianist so we wont need to use canned music from a CD. I have heard the plays are being filmed too and if so you'll be able to find it on my YouTube channel as soon as I get it up.
Performances run October 17th - November 1st. I can't wait.
