Balloon Jam - Chicago area - Sept 23rd

I am attending a 2 day meeting - arriving on Tuesday - meetings start Wednesday morning.

I am meeting a friend and we will be twisting - anyone in the Rolling Meadows areas wants to come have a balloon jam - let me know.

There is actually a more (in)formal, regularly scheduled Chicago balloon jam on the evening of Thursday, Sept. 25 at Merle's in Evanston from 6 or 7 ish (PM) until we decide to leave and/or they toss us out. So if you're still in town, drop by!

I can assure everyone this is not a "formal" event. I just wanted to put out an invite to anyone in the area that would like to twist on Tuesday, as that is the only evening I will have available. We have a dinner party on Wednesday and I will be leaving early Thurs afternoon, I hope you have a great time on Thursday.

Thanks for the FYI about Thursday, but I will be heading home , I will probably be home by that time on Thursday evening.

I wish I could go... I went to high school in Rolling Meadows. I am not sure I will even make it home to Chicago this year. I have a family reunion over Labor Day weekend, but with Moose Camp earlier this month and a two week vacation in October, I can't fit it into my schedule.

Toony, I know what you mean - you can only do so much. I would not be going to Chicago during the week, but our company's quarterly Office Services meetings are held in Rolling Meadows - the nice thing is we get to arrive early to beat traffic (like that ever happens) in Chicago. I have a friend who is a twister in that area - he is going to drive over to meet me and jam - I always believe more the merrier..and would be blessed to meet other twisters.

If you make it to the fling next year - I plan on attending - if its still in this area- maybe we can twist a while then.
