Default Tatoo's alternative to face painting

Do any of you do tatoos as an alternative, ie alleries?
I don't presently but I'd like to as they're quick, look cute and last for several days. I've seen those on Oriental Trading. Do any of you recommend a supplier? I have been to event where they already have people face painting, and that's when I end up doing full faces [to be different], but tatoos would do that to

One of our other clown cronies does tattooing while Jasp and I face paint. The kids love being able to get both.

I've even been known to do my designs on their hands or arms as a tattoo because they don't want it on their face. Some of the teenyboppers don't see getting it on their face as too sophisticated.

Those of you who HAVE tried the tattoos...what is your method for applying them (ie: wet sponges, spray bottle, paper towels w/ a bucket of warm water?) We had a tatoo booth at my school carnival, but everyone seemed to have different ideas as to the best method of application. I thought the water had to be somewhat warm to apply them, but others didn't seem to think so... also I worried that the parents would have a concern of several kids sharing the same washcloth or sponge... however it would be too costly to get 300+ washcloths!! Just Curious... Thanks for all of your 2 cents worth... they are worth far more than that to me!!!

Wet washcloth--10 seconds--comes off great. I wouldn't worry about the washcloth thing. Try a big orange sponge. Same effect, and easier to handle. I think you'd be ok with that. It's just water.
Good luck

either, sponge seems easier to handle. once we used wet paper towels at a school function [ they provide all the materials]

Basically it on open areas, and I wouldn't be concerned about the water, but I of course would not put a tatoo on any broken skin or any area that appears questionable [rash]
