There is really no need to take the Paradise out of their own containers. They have a clear window in the top so you can see the color and yet the top screws on so that it stays in place.

All of the brands have pros and cons. Paradise does have some very nice colors, but they have only about half the colors that Snazaroo does. There is also Kryolon and Wolfe Brothers. Ben Nye and Mehon also make some paints that have some nice benefits. (I know Paradise is made by Mehron, but I was thinking of Star blend.)

I must say, Sassafras, I am on a tight budget too and Snazarroo paints go a long way for the money you pay for them. It might seem more expensive, but the way I see it, I'd rather get them when I know the company has NEVER been sued over an allergic reaction than find myself in a situation where I used the "cheaper" paints and get into trouble with an angry parent whose child broke out after I painted them. Just my two cents.
