fun and cute facepainting "spin-choice" board
Title makes you go "er"?? You know... the patrons that want something, but don't know what? Or they really don't care they just wanna do it? I thought of a spin board, a laminated board with "pie slices" ,each with a different choice. Include joke spins like "paint a muchtache" or "paint what was painted the last time". Allow so many spins -chances cuz you know they won't want what they supposedly don't care what they get. Going "er?"
Laminate both sides, one side may be your advertising.
Go to the teacher supply places or old game boards for the spinner.
Spin board may be mounted upon a ping-pong paddle or something else with a handle on it.
Any cute joke slice ideas?

Can't quite picture it. Can you upload a picture of one?

Good idea misspriss! I may have to use that one. Maybe make one with boy stuff and one with girl stuff. Could even make some up for the different holidays too.

spin board ideas
girls~ladybug, butterfly, flower, mustache (joke one-respin), hearts, balloons, kitty paw prints, etc.
boys~spiderweb, train, car, ant, truck, spider, bugs, etc. (throw in some girly ones for a joke,
You could even do a color spin. I know with my kids if you make the decision for them and they don't like it, it makes it easier for them to decide on their own.

What a great idea. Thanks, Miss Priss. I think I'll make one ... only problem ... it's got about 20 projects ahead of it.

update on the spinner. Went to a parent teacher supply store. Do you know they actually had just the spinners? Spinners in a pkg. and a bunch. They also had blank spinner boards. Imagine that. But no, Miss Priss has to do it the hard way. So... I'm doing it from scratch in the shape of a flower. Each petal will accomodate a choice. I'm mounting a paint stirrer in the back as to hold the thing up for the kids. Thay way I have more control over the situation. Right now while I'm at it, I'm creating new faces. Just new stuff all together. I'll keep you updated on the progress report. thanks, MP

Here's my idea for this. I left plenty of room under each one to add pictures or samples - but I kind prefer the clean look for a spinner given the photos are going to be on a photo board too.
I definitely am going to add details - this is just a rough first "have at it" attempt.
P.S. That's a zipped SVG (Scalable Vector Graphics) file. If you like it and want it, let me know what you want the colors and choices to be and I'd be happy to do it for you. The reason it's a vector graphics file is because it can be printed huge without any pixelyness (vector graphics are created by defining shapes - not individual pixels - so the shapes can be scaled to any size)
