Kryolan Dayglow rainbow cake!!!

check this out... my friend Chrys takes the kryolan dayglow cakes and makes rainbow case out of them, she sells them on her website... check out the step by step vid... i just bought these EXCELLENT! i recommend them!

Tonight was ineresting... i used the rainbow cake and recieved AMAZING results... i had two boys who wanted rainbow butterflies with GLITTER... WOW where the dads upset! LOL oh well... kids will be kids... i think one of the boys liked it a bit too much LOL... they all loved it and the design looks so complicated... but it sooooo easy!

Parents where dazzled! you have to get this rainbow cake!!!

Very nice, I actually just bought one of the Silly Farm Kryolan dayglow rainbow cakes and I really like it.

The difference is that Silly Farm's is only pink-orange-yellow-green. No blue or purple. I chose Silly Farm's for a sad reality - many in my church associate the rainbow with alternative lifestyles they don't approve of. Which I think is incredibly stupid, since the rainbow is God's promise to us... But still, in debating which rainbow cake I wanted, I had to consider the attitude of many around me where I'm face painting. By having only a partial rainbow (then adding blue and purple details) I figure it's much less likely to be seen as a symbol they don't approve of than if I have the full rainbow in spectral order.

Personally, I like the colors of your friends' rainbow cakes much better

- Mark (thinking of the song "back when" and thinking of how sad it is that he has to be careful not to use a symbol of God's promises to us in a way that it could be taken wrong...)

I hate to say it markie, but it looks like the people in your church need to wake up... thats so stupid! i wouldnt care... they should know better.

You're preaching to the choir buddy. I didn't even consider it an issue until a few weeks ago where I did something very rainbowish (not face painting, but a print publication for a lesson handout) and I had a situation on my hands... Not a major one, just a "I know you meant well, but be careful what you're teaching these kids without meaning it".

So apparently, using rainbows is a subliminal message to tell kids to be adopt a lifestyle we don't believe is ideal... Yeah, right

Sorry if anyone out there is a rainbow-phobe BUT GET REAL, GOD MADE RAINBOWS!!!

Maybe some day, I'll be able to order your friend's rainbow cake Shoq... until then, given the attitudes of a (vocal minority) around me in my community, I have to make other choices.

Too bad your friend doesn't make them with all the colors but not in spectral order... it's not the COLORS of the rainbow that bug the person I'm thinking of, it's them being in a rainbow order. He said rainbow colors were fine if they weren't in order...

I know, I know, I'm thinking the exact same thing you are!

I feel for you, as far as the rainbow colors in a set order do they not know its a prism effect that cause the grouping of colors from red, orange, yellow etc? A rainbow is the symbol of the promise that God will not destroy the earth by flood.. I realize it's your area/church but it amazes me that rainbows are a problem. Sorry, maybe one day their eyes will be opened. May be you should get the Noah story bag and use it in a lesson.
