Ideas??

I just had our "boss lady" tell use we were doing face painting !!!
our "paint" is a lot of haloween ( some out dated ) make up kits and a bunch of face paint craons. I have no idea what to do !!
I have art skils but not for this type of medea. Ineed some easy things for kids that will work with what we got.

Why do the people I clown with do this to me!!!!!

EEEP HALLOWEEN MAKEUP AND CRAYONS AHHH!!!

Okay, the good side is Wolfe Bros makes both Halloween makeup and crayons and Ben Nye makes crayons.

The bad side, is I doubt that's what you have to work with. Personally I would just say no to this, and tell them they need the proper tools - you wouldn't send a construction worker to build a house without tools.

Assuming that's not a road you are willing or financially able to take, just do your best. Go around websites for ideas. Snazaroo's website at The SNAZAROO USA home page - for face painters has some great ideas and there are others too (NOT an endorsement of Snazaroo's makeup... in fact I prefer Paradise by Mehron and Kryolan Aquacolors myself... but Snazaroo isn't bad, just not my taste)

Practice and have fun with it. Butterflies are always fun but I can't imagine face painting with crayons and halloween makeup! Lots of hearts on their cheeks?

Thanks! I kinda feel bad for " boss lady " thats why I'm trying to make it work. The campus won't help fund us in any way eccept a ride so every thing comes from mebers pocets, that not alot 20-40$ every 2 weeks & after needs that leaves like $5 mabe some thimes.

I just talked to one of my clowns thay say the craons are Ben Nye we aslo have a skin packed bace . Thay were all from the mime aprently.

Hes the only one with any type of training too.

Ben Nye crayons probably aren't bad. I've never used them but Ben Nye makes decent products. Personally, I'd smoosh the crayons down into little containers and attempt to use them brush and sponge style if I had to use them (makeup sponges are fine if needbe and brushes can be had fairly cheap at a craft store). I just dunno what to say, it's sure not a fun situation to be in!

Lol crash test dummies are a good thing in face painting. I've seriously messed some stuff up on my cousins and my kids church class

Which is great! Practice makes perfect and I learned from my mistakes! Gotta love those who patiently let you keep re-painting them as you try things! (Seriously, love on them, they can get sick of it easily)
