Most popular?
I'm going to be face painting at my daughter's school for their winter walk through and I'd like to make up a list of the most popular designs and practise them and take pictures of them to show what I can do at this thing.... Here's what I'm thinking so far:
Full face:
Tiger
Dog
Butterfly
Mask:
Princess
Snowflakes
Holly
Batman?
Cheek art:
Snowman
Santa
Reindeer
I don't want to have too many choices I'm thinking because it's a free gig for the school fundraiser and if I charged them, I'd just have to help them raise the money back again... plus it's good practice and exposure.... Keep it simple, but stick to a few good looking ones. Anything that is really popular that I should be adding to this list?

Cheek art is just christmas?
Make sure you have permission to use any pics you take. That is why I practice on all and photo family.

oh the pictures will just be family ahead of time so that I have an example board for them to choose from.... I could do just about anything for cheek art, but I want to keep it simple so things can go fast... I'd also like to stay away from copyrighted characters which would likely be the requests if I left the cheek art stuff open?
This is why I'm asking what I should have for my options available... I've never done face painting at an event yet.

I saw the prettiest holly eye art in one of the face painting books recently. I think I'm going to try to change it a tad to make it my own. Using some of the bling would be a great addition to this one. Have you ever used the bling before?

I haven't used anything except for playing around, yet... I have some glitter gel that came with the set that I bought... plan on using a lot of it on the xmas stuff though.

YES!!!! Christmas calls for lots of shiny glitter!! But if you get a chance, check out the blings. They are super for outlining!

That's IT!!!!!!!!!!!! I don't think I would ever get as close to the eye as she did with outlining the white, tho. That's a little too close for me to be comfortable with.
But, that's the gist of it all. I get mine at Clown Antics and think it's about 5.00 a bottle.
Great video Perry! Thanks!

ok, I did some practising the other day and took pictures for my sample board for the kids to choose from. This is what I have so far, do I need to add any more do you think?
Full Face/Masks:
Butterfly
Dalmation
Tiger
Bunny
Spiderman
Holly Mask
Cheek/Hand Art:
Reindeer
Santa
Xmas Tree
Snowman
Penguin
Holly bracelet
Snake
Unicorn (or pony)
What do you think? Enough?
I had wanted to add a snow princess mask and a batman mask, but didn't have time that day.... I could probably arrange to find one more victim, I mean volunteer before the event if I might need it.
