Many of what I have displayed are gifts from a wonderful lady-lawyer friend of my wife's from the L.A area. She and her mother "adopted" our pediatric wing of the hospital. There's even an attractive plaque mounted in the hall with words to that effect. She has donated a CD player for each of the rooms as well as a pile of CDs and a portable CD/video tv. Some of the stuff I bought, like the walking snowmen and the snowy shakeup snowmen for .50 each, and some of the puppets. I'll bring cookies to give out after, of course, checking with the staff. It doesn't take much to bring smiles to the children and the parents. It's a tough time of the year for them to be stuck in the hospital
