Welcome Madzo! We have a tutorial on riding the unicycle if you haven't seen it already, and hopefully some of the others will have ideas on where the best place to find a vent's dummy is. Sounds like you're off to a great start!

I envy you, your young and already have the desire and drive to start Clowning. I am 41 and am just now doing something about it. (as a Kid I was either told to grow up and stop fooling around and take life serious or was just to busy on the Farm) So PLEASE do not let anyone take away your enthusiasum and dreams.

I wish you all the best in your pursuits and I am sure that any questions you have these fine folks can answer them or send you to where you can find answers.

HOWDEE Madzo,

Pull on up and sat a spell. Glad to meet ya. If you're looking for a vent, try ebay, they have some cool full body puppets on there from time to time and the price is usually good. To me this is a good starting place as the full character vents with moving eyes, etc. can be very expensive.

Welcome Madzo!!!
Yep, we've been here for awhile Find a place to Park your Kiester (Makeup and Costume trunk) in the Line up, pull up a stool and learn! We consider it an honour to help you learn the artform.

Welcome Madzo
Starting out young just means you can do it longer
My grand daughter is 15 and works with me doing face painting
and she really enjoys being a clown but she says the hard part is putting up with kids in school that think its funny but then she tells them she makes more in an hr than they make all week working after school
The main thing is to always have fun with it

Wow thank you all
you all seem like great people with a lot to tell and i amglad i found here.
I did try ebay for a dummy but a lot only deliver to the US, i will wait til a worldwide one comes up
i really want to start young and make the most of it and i hope anyone else starting out can do the same, whatever age!
Also Jamz, your granddaughter is right she probably does earn more than them! a lot of people are very small minded and want to be 'hairdressers and beauticians' (no offence to anyone that is) but thats what everyone says they want to do i mean why? what is the facination? lol i wanna be a clown and if anyone else does too go for it!!!
thanks again
