Default Hey, Everybody!!!

b

Hey Everyone! This is Chatters the Clown! I started clowning in 1997, but took time off to start my family and am just now getting back into it. I feel like I am starting over brand new again...SO... I am open to new ideas and tips! I did a few Fall Festivals that went well, actually better than I had expected, but now I've got people wanting birthday parties... 2 for NOVEMBER! I am excited, but have not done parties in years, and to be honest they were not real professional. I am afraid I will not be very prepared by November! Does anyone have suggestions of what is usually "expected" at a birthday party? I can do decent balloon sculptures and skits, ect., but I do not have many "fancy" props for magic, ect. Any ideas would be a huge blessing!! This is a GREAT forum and I am enjoying it SOOOO much already! Blessings! Chatters

Chatters, not being very proffessional myself it sounds like you're off to a great start! My suggestion would be to read the entire forum of backlogs - Welll, ok maybe not the ENTIRE forum - but there is A LOT of good info here and it helps to get immursed in the clown mindset! Ya hang around computer programmers all day, who ya gonna act like? Hang around clowns all day - now that's a good day!

Chatterstheclown great to have you and if you can join us for chat on Thur. 9pm est., there may be a topic, but we're all glad to help you brain storm with what you've got if you want. It's helped me and I'm sure several others when we talk some one may come up something you've forgot or didn't think of.

Again welcome. Oh and if you've got young childrens b-parties coming up they love music and bubble, and both can be gotten at your local wal-mart or chain store.
