Ladies and Gentleman, welcome to Silly Willy's corner!!
Hmm, how did I become a clown, a great one indeed. I had the highest calling possible, begiinning with getting prepared to go to seminary school. I was watching over a church for a fellow clergy person for eight to ten weeks and they volunteered me to represent them at the new "christian clowning classes" in a Reisterstown church, after the initial rejection I gave them I went "out of obligation" lol. Within three days I found my true self in those classes, later I happened to run in to the Local Bozo, at a volunteer thing I did, he beagn to show me a couple of beginner balloons, I took it like a fish to water and mastered the beginner and part of the intermediate book immediately and withing two weeks was creating my own, , the same with magic. He told me I was a natural and I never looked back. The rest as they say is history and a good one at that. I have been clowning for about 32 years total including the first part time years and about 28 of that is full time
Clowning is what I do best and enjoy the most, whether I'm working for a living or just doing it for fun and smiles, there is no other reward greater in this life. All the talents I had a young person all came in handy and now they aren't so odd any more, all those quirks and voices I did are now part of who I am, that strange kid who was backward , shy and "weird" now is the outgoing clown of today,, what a transformation and what a great way to go....... I don't think I can say much more on it , the rest are tales of my time in clowning and that can be saved for good conversations.

Glad you found the Forum. 28 years full time. My hat is off to you. I have been building up to full time but have a while to go before I make the plunge.
