Default Theatre Teacher/former clown

I'm looking for ideas to bring clowning ot my younger Drama campers. Any suggestions for clown gags or skits that a child could do?

Oh my! I am a theatre person myself. (musical theatre. ) Welcome welcome!

It's getting late on my end of the country, but I will absolutely be back later with some suggestions for bringing clowning into the classroom.

With my group of jr. joey one activity they love to do is what we call "props" goes by other names but basically I gather as many different things I can find about the church and they have to come up with different ideas for the object, ie a toilet plunger becomes the steering wheel for a car, or the handle becomes a stand up mic. etc. We also do charades where they draw an action and have to act it out, ie picking flowers and being bothered by a bee, or riding a horse [not just bouncing but having them think out each movement and how they could be funny with the action. Working on communication with gestures and facial expressions. etc. Hope this helps OH and welcome to the group.
