Default Newbie-That's Me

I'm, new to professional clowning, but not clowning. I use to clown for family and friends and their children's parties, then my childrens parties. Now I'd like to do party clowing. For the most part it's been difficult to find a mentor to teach an "old clown new tricks" but I've met some clowns that were willing to share knowledge, along the way. Happy to be a part of this forum. Hoping to learn new things and meet other clowns and enjoy the clowning experience.

Glad to have you, Clown. Sounds like you're ripe for expanding your clownin'. In the music world the saying goes, "The professional plays for the money while the amateur plays just for the sheer fun of it." I'm not saying that professional clowns don't have fun, but some of the home grown amateurs can also fall off their chairs in a fit of laughter. Even if they are broke...........
