New to Clowning...
Hi My name is Leanda. I am a 31 year old female. I have been interested in clowning for a long time. I've dressed as a clown for halloween all my life. I've decided I want to get into clowning seriously now. I was wondering if anyone knows of a clown school near winston-salem, NC or a teacher. If anyone can help I'd appreciate it. Thank you!

Thank you SaphireSue. I did find that this afternoon :-)
I also found a clown school in Hickory, NC that I am thinking of attending in September. Has anyone heard of: Charlie Chaplains Skool '07? Here is the website: www.charliechaplains.blogspot.com/
I'd be interested in hearing yours and anyone's feedback on this school.
Thank you again!

Welcome, Leanda!
Pull up a chair and ask anything you want to know. You've chosen a great think to do.

NC Clown Alleys
JOLLY RALEIGH KLOWN ALLEY --- P.O. Box 40571 Raleigh, NC 27629 bbtheclown@juno.com
PORTCITY SILLY CLOWNS --- 5330 Fielding Dr. Wilmington, NC 28405
CRYSTAL COAST CLOWNS --- 104 Greenway Ct. Havelock, NC 28532 cnielsen4@cox.net
GLOBAL CLOWN ALLEY --- 1010 Onsville Dr. Jacksonville, NC 28546 clmcstine@yahoo.com
You might try contacting these alleys and see if they know of any clowns in your area. Also look for other types of children's entertainers: Puppetiers, Children's magicians, balloon twisters, face painters and the like. They may not be clowns but they have skills you will be interested in and they also look at the world a little differently.
