My Master's Degree
I'm Kooky. I first took clown class through Smiles Unlimited the fall of 1994 when I was a sophomore in college. Life took me different places, and after college I can count on my hand how many gigs I performed. I recently had a chance meeting with a clown at a resturant, and now I am going through what I call my clown "master's degree" in a class through Clowns of America International. I am so happy to get this opportunity to be in this alley. I'm thrilled that is part of my life is no longer a closed book. I look forward to class every week. It is the highlight. I am going through the class with a dear friend, and that makes it even more exciting. We talk on the phone about wigs and noses and clothes. I can't wait to go out there and make people smile again. I remember how tired I would be when I would come home from a parade or a nursing home. But, it was the good kind of tired. I knew that I had done my good deed for the day!

Kooky, Since I know that Smiles Unlimited is mostly here in the Midwest It is good to meet another Midwesterner here on the Forum. So what alley are you training with? Are you still in the Midwest?
