Howdy~!
Hello!
I am an aspiring clown and I am here for guidance and even more inspiration!
I LOVE life.
I LOVE bubbles. I am a senior down here at the University of Alabama and have switched majors soooooooooooo much because I seem to LOVE everything... Child Development, Socail Work, Psychology, Art Therapy, Child Life... and now back to Child Development.
I LOVE children. I love their laughs... I love the spark they get in their eyes when they figure out things for themselves.. I love their imagination.. I love their ability to let loose and be free.. I love getting down and dirty with them, I worked at a summer camp where I was the art lady and I allowed them to paint the floors and the walls and even the ceiling if they so wished, it was delightful to see the surprise and excitement in their eyes as I allowed them to do things that they werent allowed to do at home.. it RELEASED them... I can go on and on about children. I spend alll the time I can at the Chidlrens Hands On Museum here.. the REAL world of college students isnt my thing (drinking, smoking, partying....though I do like going out and making friends by blowing bubbles and passing out tootsie roll pops)
I LOVE the shock value I have.. Walking into a room with butterfly wings or gogo boots or a big bow in my hair. There are a lot of cookie cutter sorority girls here who do a double take and scowl at the sight of me. I give them a tootsie roll pop and a smile.
I LOVE bringing out the innner child in everyone. I blow bubbles all around campus. I have skirts that i LOVE to twirl in because they pretty much go STRAIGHT out, like a parachute.. I love jokes and pure silliness. I pass out stickers. In fact, thats how i make a lot of freinds... I pass out stickers.. .one girl i gave her a "You Are Beautiful" sticker a few years ago and she later came up to me and told me how no one has ever said that to her before and we became the BEST of freinds and when she is with me, she is able to let loose and be silly too!
No one really gets me down here, except the children. I have been reading up on clowning and beleive that it would be an avenue to explore...
my excitement builds!!!
