Wow Thank you all for the wonderful Welcome! I really feel honored to be able to speak err... type in the presence of such wonderful Clowns.

I am a young college student in Middle Tennessee. Right now I am focusing on getting my basic classes finished. Next Fall I hope to declare a major. I am very active in community theatres in my area, I love to sing, dance, and entertain. I have two other siblings and I am the youngest in my family. So I admit when I was younger I was generally the center of attention entertaining the family and I loved every minute of it!

I attend a small Baptist Church where I teach a Small Sunday School class. We hold a VBS at our church every Summer. VBS is usually 5 days long and it usually ends on a Saturday. Saturday VBS tends to be an all day event. We have classes, Crafts, Singing, Snacks, a penny war (which the funds always pay for the next summers VBS materials) Puppets (a Small team that I started), Devotional , Lunch and then always a fun filled afternoon.

A Few years ago our VBS theme was based around a Circus. So I thought as a treat for the end of VBS I would clown. I had taking a week long Clowning Around class in Junior High. I had already had some practice in twisting basic balloons, I love to tell jokes, and I could Juggle. So I convinced myself that I could clown.

So I pulled together a colorful costume (of items from Items that I already had in my closet and from Goodwill which is one of my favorite places to shop).

I wore a colorful wig, a blue dress shirt with a yellow short sleeved shirt on top of it, a skinny red tie, Bright Green Pants (a Goodwill find), Yellow Chuck Taylor Converse shoes with orange laces, and a black TopHat with an orange band and a big purple daisy on it and I wore white gloves. I used some theatrical crayons that I had and some cheap halloween cream to do makeup.



That VBS was so much fun and I learned a lot. I took what I learned and by the next year I had formed the clown that I clown as Now.

I changed faces from Whiteface to a Lite Auguste using Mehron Clown White and Mehron Crayons for my face... always setting with baby powder. My Yellow Hair was ordered from P. Mooseburgers website. The Top Hat and Purple Daisy stayed the same. I used the same Green Pants and yellow Converse Shoes. I wear the Multicolored Rainbow Vest that you see in my avatar with a solid colored t-shirt underneath ... The color changes often... I have a rainbow of solid shirts in my closet, and I wore fingerless white gloves (its easier to twist balloons and Catch Juggling bags when your finger tips aren't covered) I also adopted a Name and character for my Clown... I am now Razzle-Dazzle D. Clown a bright, colorful bubbly/bumbling clown who often finds his way in to trouble.



I look forward to developing this character even more with the help of this site.

I also love to share Gods Word and Gods Love. I love to sing Songs (Jesus Loves Me, Father Abraham, This Little Light of Mine, Lords Army, and so many more)

I carry around a Rubber Chicken named Howard. He remains silent but always whispers to me. He is my best friend when I clown... He dislikes Chicken Jokes and fears Kentucky Fried Chicken establishments. Often I misister the children through him. When I explain to him and everyone else what is like to have the love of Jesus in your heart.

My mission is to fill Gods people with Joy. I am just glad that Joy comes ultraconcentrated and Lemon Scented.



Wow this has turned in to quite a long reply.

I also love to entertain adults. I created a character whos name is "Richard Handsome". He is a 85 year old gentleman from Lickskillet, TN He loves to share stories about life and he often has his opinion about todays technologies. (For one he doesn't understand why every now and then he sees young adults running around with blinking blue things on their ears).

Let me tell you a little bit about myself ... my name is Harriet. I used to think I was in pretty good shape so, with my doctor's permission, I joined a fitness club to start exercising.

I decided to take an aerobics class for seniors. I bent, twisted, gyrated, jumped up and down, and perspired for an hour ... but, by the time I got my leotards on, the class was over.

Well, I will be waiting to hear from you, Mr. Handsome. Oh ... I can't hear without my hearing aid ... maybe you'd just better write. Well, I can't see too well, either ... can you send smoke signals? Oh wait ... most states are smoke-free now. Hmmmmm ... this is a real challenge. Well, one good thing ... if we go out twice, I won't know, 'cuz I don't remember too well, either.

Why am I writing to you, anyway ... I forgot. Well, maybe I'll remember tomorrow.

Well Ms. Harriet... You certainly are a looker! But The apple in my eye happens to be Ms. Sadie Gruesome of Lickskillet, TN... We both live in the Lickskillet Nursing Home and when we aren't spending too much time in the TV watching room we escape through the Vents and go and visit people.

I always remind Ms. Sadie that she is always on my mind... and she is just as quick to remind me that I am always on her nerves!

Not Many people know this about old Richard but I am a widower... My Wife Beaulah has done gone on to be with the Lord. When she died I had "THE LIGHT OF MY LIFE HAS JUST WENT OUT" carved on her tombstone...

Not long after her death I moved into the Lickskillet Nursing home and I met Ms. Sadie...

So I called up that feller that carved Beaulah's tombstone and I asked him if he could fit a few more words on the stone. He said, "Sure thing Mr. Handsome. What do you want it to read?"

I told that young feller that I wanted it to read "THE LIGHT OF MY LIFE HAS JUST WENT OUT... BUT I THINK I MIGHT HAVE STRUCK UP ANOTHER MATCH!"

Ms. Sadie likes to go to the fitness center in Lickskillet aswell... She told me one time that she went in and the young lady who was doing the fitness instruction asked if she had a Leotard... Ms. Sadie replied back that she didn't have anything contagious if that was what she was asking.

How kind of you to invite me over for Metamucil... I had just run out...

That's ok, Mr. Handsome. An adonis man such as yourself is bound to have a main squeeze and I certainly wouldn't want to be the one to break up your second true romance, Ms. Licker, or whatever her name is ... I can't remember.

Don't feel badly about drooling over my good looks, though ... you know what the old saying is ... "it's ok to check out the menu, even if you're on a diet."

I hope you and Ms. Flicker enjoy each other as much as possible, but if you ever feel like you need a new tomato, let me know.
