(Queen Moo-D) and I am very new to clowning. I haven't even graduated school yet, although, I do graduate this Thursday. I went through a very shortened version of clown class and have very much to learn. Looking forward to getting to know everyone and learning from you. Thanks!

Welcome to the Forum. Take your time and look around you will probably find some interesting stuff (I always do.) Also, who is teaching you class? Is a clown group or an extened learning class? I am always so full of questions (don't say it Tim) Where are you located?

The class I am in is being done by the Shi Alley Clown club. I paid a few extra dollars and got the people to join the class to have them come to us. It made it easier because of the distance. Our class people are located in Clio, Michigan, which is about 1 hour from the Alley meeting place. The class was 6 weeks shorter than their normal class so we didn't learn quite as much as we normally would have. We learned the different faces, some balloons, a quick version of a b-day party, a couple skits and a song. I really wanted to learn hospital clowning, a little face painting, about the different organizations, where to get the info. on conventions, maybe a bit on contracts and what to charge, etc. but that's ok....I will get there one way or the other, it will just be a bit slower. I am certainly thankful for finding this forum; there is some great information here.
