Hi Ya'll
Hi! I am a First of May clown. I am a member of INKY Clowns Alley #361. They are a great bunch! I am always looking for more areas for me to learn the art of clowning. I am also learning twisting from Frank "Buff-Phoon" Bunton. He is really awesome! I am looking forward to reading the threads here on this website. I am a Tramp clown and I plan on working on my Comedy Whiteface. I am not Comfortable with my Whiteface I am quite scary looking. I became a clown last year and have had a blast so far. I clowned when I was in high school for a local radio station for a ALL I WANT FOR CHRISTMAS party I met a 5 year old girl and when I asked her what she wanted for christmas she told me nothing just for her mommy to get better. Her grandmother caught me off to the side and asked me to pray the girls mom was dying with cancer and they did not know if she was going to make it to Christmas. (That taught me the real meaning of Christmas). I quit clowning after that except for halloween (I was not Good enough to be a real Clown) Anyways I got a job at Toys R Us and Became their Mascot and HAD A BLAST!!! Lost that job and took Clown Class and did my first party for a local hotel at Christmas and the Children loved me. I love making the kids laugh and smile nothing is better than that!

Hey Bonkers. Welcome to the Clown-Forum. I am glad that you are still working on being a clown. It can be hard meeting kids who are sick or who have a member of the family who is sick.
If you post a few pictures of you as a clown, I am sure that the members here can give you a few pointers on how to make it look less scary.
Being a mascot is also fun. I was a panda several days at the National Zoo this past Christmas for their christmas, zoo-lights display.

Frank is great, He help me learn how to pop twist, I couldn't do it without the balloon deflating on me, before.

Hey Bonkers,
Welcome to the Forum! With the Inky clowns you are sure to learn quite a bit. Frank knows his stuff all right. Take your time and read the old posts. There is a lot of good information hidden in there. And feel free to ask any and all questions and we will try to answer. And as your Chief Joey of the Midwest Clown Association let me officially welcome you to the wide world of clowning as well.
