Default JJ the Clown..... At your service!!!

Hello, I have been clowning since October 2000 and I am always willing to make new friends and learn something new. I am based out of Brooklyn, NY but I travel where ever a gig takes me within reason.

I really enjoy clowning because it allows me to meet people from all walks of life and make them smile!!! I went to Clownfest for the first time last year and had a blast! I never felt more at home with so many other clowns. I am looking forward to going again this year and I am taking two other clowns from my Alley with me!!!

I could really improve on my silly magic tricks so I am open to suggestions. I have amny gags but I am not quite comfortable using many of them, especially the change bag!!!
I am simply scared of it! Imagine that!!!

I am bilingual which allows me to also cater to the hispanic community and thus gives me a greater market opportunity.

Thanks to all in advanced for your help!!!

Welcome to the Clown Forum. I am sure that if you have a specific question about a silly magic trick that the other clowns here can offer you some suggestions.

Welcome to the Forum JJ. Being Bilingual you could use the change bag is such great ways. You could have the words "Happy Birthday" and the Birthday child's name all mixed up in one language on one side and then when you make the change everything is all right but it is in the other language and that is all you can speak. You switch it back and then you can speak in the first language again.

Hi JJ. I live just above Phila Pa. You are the closest clown to me I've met on here. Have you heard about Clownfest Main Page in Seaside NJ. It's held in Sept. I am not bilingual but have enjoyed performing for numerous hispanic events. There seems to be a special love of clowns from both old and young in the hispanic culture. I'm a complete klutz yet I've been able to effectivley work the change bag. While your sitting on the phone or watching Tv just keep practicing so it becomes second nature. Just kinda work it till you can do it without thinking or looking at it. Practicing in front of a mirror helps too.
