I am a baby clown. I graduated from clown school on March 15. My husband and oldest daughter did too. So we are a clown family. I have 2 younger children that are 5 and 7 that want to clown also.
I think it is a wonderful thing. We got involved almost by accident. There were clowns at our church that told us about the class. Our daughter did it for her senior project and we joined in.
My name is Petals because I love to garden and my costume has flowers on it and my apron has watercan and flowerpot pockets. It is really cute.
I'm so glad to be here!
Petals, I see you are in Indiana. I am in the South Bend area, where are you located. Also you might be interested, even though it is short notice, we are haveing a clown get together this weekend in South Bend. I is nice to heaar from another clown family. Both my boys jumped right in when they were young. My oldest waited until he was almost 10. That was the age at which he was allowed at the Texas convention. This promted his younger brother to start at 5 but only locally. Now all grown up my youngest still clowns with me sometimes. The older one got to serious as time went by. After high school he didn't do it anymore.
Maybe your younger ones could jump in also. I think it is a great thing for a family to do together.
I would love to see a pic of you in your outfit. It sounds darling.
