Welcome, Zimbo!
Just out of curiosity, how many Syllables are in that name of yours?
Cheers,
Scruffy

Yes it does... to me at least

The name "Zimbo" is from my country of birth - Zimbabwe
"wena mokadota" is the name of a very funny local tv show in Zim that made me laugh as a kid
"wena wesa here" means " i come laughing" which is self explanatory for us clowns

So its a combination of words

That would be 8 Syllables, a couple tom-toms, one high-hat and a base drum

Welcome to the Forum Zimbo. You mentioned that you received your training here in the states. Might I ask when and where? There are so many opportunities to learn that it is fun to see where people choose to learn. I have discovered a number of wonderful training opportunities just by asking where others have learned.

How many clowns are in your troup? Are there other clowns in your area? I look forward to your sharing.

Fitzwilly -

I trained at Sparkels Clown College in Del Mar California... its a small place and not sure if its still around. I also did a few classes at Hanna Banana California Clown School in Las Vagas. The Classes were in Las Vegas but the School was called California Clown School (A very clown thing to do)

As for my troop... well its brand new and I'm still trying to squeeze myself into the market here in South Africa. I have about 5 clowns who I have met over the past year and Im open to promote just about anyone who needs promotion for kids parties, entertainers and events (all child related) . To be honest I don't believe there are more that 10 clowns in Johannesburg South africa so there is plenty of space to all operate together (the demand is high)

There is a fairly large amount of volunteer clowns in clown-ministry though...God is doing his magic and is allot better at recruiting other clowns than me.... lol

I am not a full-time clown (I have a side job for weekdays) but hopefully one day I will run a full time clown agency...
