Hi from Biscuit_LOL
Well hi, I decided to join this forum to get to know more about clowning. I have thought about it for a couple years and have been trying to decide on my path in life (college just isn't cutting it for me). so I might look into clowning. I can't go to Moose Camp this year, but I want to go next year if possible!
I heard that there is another clown camp at the University of Wisconsin's Clown in LaCrosse Wisconsin. That's only about 2 hours away from me, and would be much more convenient. does anyone have any info on it? I can't seem to find any info about it anywhere. is it still running?
I'm still developing my character as I have never done this before, but I'm working on designing my costume and wig and makeup and plan on getting some of the good books on clowning i have heard so much about (especially strutter's one for makeup!)...
so anyways, here I am. I hope to stay...maybe look into hospital clowning. especially at UIC Hospital in Chicago, as my sister (a nurse) told me they have clowns there. I think I would like to do that....

Biscuit! Welcome to the Forum. Both Moosecamp and Clown Camp are full this year. But!!! you have a great opportunity because this fall there is a great convention in Oconomowoc. Check out Welcome Also, you should stop by Circus World Museum in Baraboo. Talk with Neal, he just left the show (RBBB).

There are some clown clubs in the Chicago area that you might be interested in. Actually, one meets tonight (and the 1st Wednesday of every month) starting around 7:30 in Northlake at the Sandy R. Vazquez Center, 316 N. LaPorte. Come on out and join us sometime!

Hi Biscuit! Glad you could join us!
LaCrosse Clown Camp is only going to be running for 2 more years after this summer, but Moosecamp will be going untill all of the clowns in the world have gone at least 3 times. Well, maybe not, but so far there are no plans for it to end any time!
