Love to make folks laugh
I am clown Lucas just started clowning not to long ago, I wanted te get into clowning because I enjoy making folks laugh. sometimes Im having such a good time at a kids party that I forget what time it is.
I am having a hard time finding a side-kick partner.

Welcome to the Forum Lucas. How did you get starting in clowning? It is always fun to see the answer to that question. What area of LA do you live in? I have a number of friends out that way.

Hi Lucas and Howdy Doody. Welcome to the forum. Yes indeed tell us sbout yourself. A Puppet makes a great side kick. I like making people laugh too. Heck Shadpoke comes out at my joy and believe me it helps. I enjoy making children laugh a lot. They need a lot of joy in their and as much as you can give them the more they take and learn.

Welcome to the Forum Lucas! I've had trouble in the past finding a good clown partner to perform with too. If you haven't yet I would recommend putting an ad in the Craig's List gig section of your town.
I have met two really good cohorts doing that myself. Also, hit up your local street fairs or head down to Venice beach and catch some acts. Then see if you can find them on MySpace or YouTube. I met an amazing clown doing just that a couple years ago. Today I caught another act at our Street Fair. I looked her up on MySpace and there she was, she was also friends with that very same amazing clown. We've chatted and hopefully I'll have made a new friend. Networking is key!
