Another newbie!
I've been lurking around little by little when I had the time. One thing I did learn is about the shoes! I got an awesome pair of shoes from Clown Mart on Ebay, and put foam rubber in the toes to make them easier to walk in. I can't remember who suggested that, but Thanks!
I clowned a little when I was in the navy. Mostly orphanages and childrens hospitals overseas. I'm a big guy, but learned to take it slow with the kids, and have fun with it.
I retired from the navy and clowning in 1999, but I kept all my stuff. Recently, I got the urge again, and I'm slowly getting things together again. I live in a neighborhood where I'm sure to stay busy just doing birthday parties. So....I'm gonna give it a go and see what happens.
So...I'm sure I'll come up with some questions shortly. Right now, I'm trying to find some reasonably priced pants and a shirt. For some reason, those that I wore when I was in the navy just don't fit anymore! I think I'll hit a thrift shop and see what I can find. Eventually, I'd like to have a real costume, but it can wait.
Thanks to all of you for posting things for the newbies! I for one really appreciate it!
All the best to all of you!
