Hello and howdy dooo
My name is Caroline Robb. I am Sparkle the Clown and I have been clowning since 1994. I live in Cincinnati,Ohio where I am registered in the Ohio Historical Archives as the First official African American Female Clown in Cincinnati. I even hold a Commendation from, now retired State Representative, the Honoable William Mallory. I love clowning. I am a member of COAI (since 1994), and I have attended some great Clown training events such as Clown Camp on the Road, and Clowntown, in Newark Ohio. Clowning is a great field and there is plenty of room for diversity. I look forward to learning more about other clowns nationally and worldwide. My husband is a clown too. He is DASH and we sometimes clown together. We work events, parties, and schools. Our favorite types of events are Gospel Clowning at local churches. I am really impressed with this website and thanks for hosting it. How I got into clowning is a great story---but too much for now. I am a retired P&Ger. And P&G is how I got into clowning.

Welcome to the Forum Sparkle (and Dash). We look forward to your contributions. Feel free to comment on anything that catches your eye. Have you ever been to the Midwest Clown Association fall Roundup? Last October it was in Indianapolis and this year is is going to be just over the state line in Wisconsin, a town called Oconomowoc.

I'm glad to see a fellow cincinnatian!! I'm up the road in Hamilton. I'm fairly new at clowning and I'd love to learn and get together with my fellow "Clown Cousins"

No I have never been to a Clown convention but WOW would I love to go!!!I am thinking about the Kentucky Clown Derby this year.
