Default Fuzzle Bumpkins

Hi!!!!!!!! My name is Fuzzle Bumpkins!!! I started clowning doing the "Harvest Carnival" at my church in 2005 & 2006. After that I was hooked so 2007 was the first year I did every Street Fair I could. Late in 2007 I did a birthday party and bombed! That party was the best thing that ever happened to me, because after that I started researching the skits of professional clowns, reading a lot of books, and adapting them to my style. The silliest one I read in a book. The book said use a pool cue and balance three pool balls on the point of it (using a piece of a coat hanger sliding up the center of it. Well I thought it would it would be sillier to use a loaf of fake bread & balance 3 pieces of fake fruit on top of it. After I have them all 'balanced' I ask one child, "Can you do that?" He says, "No." I hold the objects at a relaxed angle, and say, "Oh I think you could." Meanwhile they all yell "Hey you got 'em stuck together!" I stumble to throw them back in my box. I have a few others, and I always learning and adapting.

Welcome Fuzzle
I saw the one about the pool stick and the balls also, I'm still trying to figure out how to get the hanger into the pool stick. The instructions that I found were not to clear.

Welcome to the Clown Forum! I think that it is great that you were able to use a bad performance and turn it into a motivation to become a better performer. I hope you become an active member of the Forum. You may want to read through the archives to pick up some pointers or just start asking questions and commenting on the current posts.

I was thinking about the pool cue and the pool balls. That would be an expensive prop to make, and not really easy either. Pool balls are not cheap. And you would want to clamp them in a vise without damaging them. It would look neat when it was done, especially if you were doing a W.C. Fields impersonation.
