New to You
Long time wanna be, I've always been a fan of clowns beginning with the great Red Skelton as my early childhood idle. Thus I am a hobo clown. Having been a unicycle performer as a child I later found my way to magic as a Navy Corpsman working in a hospital and soon graduated to making balloon animals which I enjoy the most as it gives me an opportunity to interact more one on one.
I'd like to advance my skills, having taken a break but always dabbling I hope to get involved with some local groups for profit, fun, food and camaraderie with occasional volunteer work.
Not a young man in body but all kid at heart my goal is do this full time in a couple of years as I head toward my retirement years and continue the buffoonery until death do I part. Speaking of "death do us part" I've been married for 23 years and have 4 children.
When not dreaming of clowning I am a professional judge for competitive marching bands, drum lines and color guard seasonally and work full time as a production planning manager. My hobbies include flying R/C planes, reading, theater (acting and attending), sports, music and many more things.

Hey there Berri, sounds like you have a pretty full schedule, but I'm glad you found time to come and join us!
There are a number of clowns, within a 1 or 2 hour drive of you, on this forum. Fitzwilly will be a good one for you to get in touch with, he's a great clown and amazing with ballons.
I hope we will be hearing more from you!

Thank you Katie.
Welcome to the Forum Berry. Indiana is full of clowns, and there are a number of them in the Indy, Kokomo area especially. Are you north, south, east or west of "tornado alley?"
There is a gentleman in Crawfordsville that would be a good contact for you, as he is also involved with... wait a minute, I think he is all about the choirs and not the bands, anyway he is a talented clown by the name of Bill "Bibo" Young. His email is bctyoung1@comcast.net
Take you time read the old posts and ask questions and make comments. The next time I am heading down your direction I will try nd let you know. I'm sure we can get you hooked up with oneone. There is an alley called "The Winner's Circle" in or around Indy. Bill will have more information on that.
