Default New to Clowning

Hi all I'm new to clowning. I took a class a few months ago and had a lot of fun. I am a mom, teacher and have alot of fun with children. I volunteer a lot with Cubscouts and at my sons school.

Welcome to the Clown Forum! Sounds like you have the audience all ready. What type of clown are you?

That is a good age to start. Both my boys clowned with me. I am from TX and the state convention let them participate starting at age 10. Now that they are grown (21 and 25) they don't do it much. If the younger one is around he will still go on a show for me if I need him.

I'm from Michigan. I think that I'm funny. Many of my friends say that clowning it fits me. I have done only about 5 gigs now and I have had two referals from them. We are going to do the parade this week and I can't wait. The other clowns that took the class with me and myself are going to get an alley started in our area because there is not any thing close. So any help would be great.
