TWINS
A man was saying to his buddy, "I went out on a date last night with a twin". His buddy replied, " Really? How can you tell them apart?"

"Keeps you on your toes" is also colloquial for staying attentive and ready to respond to the unexpected at a moment's notice. This is in contrast to becoming complacent or lazy by being "back on your heels."
