The Parrot and the Ship
Last year I had a magic show that I did for a cruise liner. I would do the same show several times a day several days a week. The captain had a parrot whose cage was always at the back of the room where I did my show. He eventually learned all my magic tricks and would torment me whenever I did my magic tricks. When I made some flowers disappear, he would say, "behind his back, behind his back." This went on until one day the ship sank. I was able to swim to a plank but that plank had the parrot on it. For 3 days the parrot and I floated on the plank not saying anything to one another. At the beginning of the 4th day, the parrot said, "OK, I give up, what did you do with the ship?"
