juggling supplies...
Ok so I'm planning on asking my parents for a nice set of juggling clubs for my birthday this year (June 12th mark your calandars everyone)
And I'm trying to figure out where I can get a decent product and not end up having to fork over an arm, leg, or nose....
I'm thinking about ordering from Larocks again since I was happy with my last purchase from them.
I don't know yet... I'm comparing prices from the Dube website...
Suggestions?
I'd also eventually like to get a spinning plate and a diablo set

What's the difference in juggling clubs to regular balls? How hard is it? Is there anything special I would need (besides the clubs) to learn how to juggle clubs?

Definitely head or any piece of your body, has to be tough. Also, you need strength, I find, since I am not that strong and can't work out (surgeries) that I don't have the endurance to keep juggling clubs for a long amount of time. I prolly should see if there are lighter ones, but the ones I have I have had for years and years.
Also, you need a large enough space so that you don't hit the TV, wall, ceiling (that one hurts) desk etc.
But the specialist (look I made a new word) thing of all you need is dedication, cause there is a little bit more of a learning curve with clubs than balls. If you need help, feel free, been juggling clubs for a while now.

I think that the key difference between clubs and balls is to learn the axis of spin. With balls, you toss them up - they come down. Pretty simple concept. With clubs you have to toss them up a certain way in order to get them to come down where and how you want. You get into double spins, triples, flats, eventually. Then comes passing which adds an entire new dimension. Ultimately, clubs aren't that hard but it takes some time and a lot of work to get used to them. Primarily, I think you have to get over the fear of being hit... as it WILL happen. Once you overcome that, you get more brave about staying at it and trying new things.

Yeah I got some clubs a couple of months ago, and it is a bit different. The shocking thing to me at first was how much was in motion at one time. Compared to three balls moving up and down, rotating clubs is a lot to take in and try to follow, but I did the same thing I did with balls (throw one for a bit, then two, then three) and it hasnt been overly onerous. The flip side of it is that it looks more inpressive, and that you can transfer the skill on to other stick like objects... like chainsaws...

Or you could practice by flipping the remote. Used to drive my mom crazy when I did that. I guess the "juggling bug" had infected me early
