Nettie Belle, that's a really sweet story. And I do think that people can die of a broken heart. My Grandma's aunt and uncle died a couple of years ago, they were in their 90's. She died first, and about a month later he died.

My dad's show biz partner and his wife died a month apart from each other, too. She had alzhiemers (sp?), he had some kind of cancer, but he took care of her until a couple of months before he died, then their kids took care of both of them. This time he died first. Dad really misses Dave, he was Dad's best man.

Oh Nettie Belle, what a beautiful story. It brought tears to my eyes. I'm going to share this with some of the other clowns from our ministry. Definitely something we need to keep in mind at our nursing home visits. Sometimes we tend to get in such a rush to get in & get out & we miss the blessing of just visiting with the old folks.
