Hi everybody! Has anyone tried to make their own paper tears?? I wanted to do something personalized for birthday parties, but not sure where to start. Any suggestions? Words of Magic Wisdom???

I use construction paper for my hearts and signs. trim it to size and it's works in my printer. For older kids that read I like to come with a sign anouncing the wrong name or happy aniversary etc and do a paper tear and produce the correct one.

Hey Sue...........would you give me the instructions on how you make these? I know you have to have two pieces of paper put together to hold the "message".........what kind of glue, tape, etc do you use........and so on and so on and so on........LOL!

OK, mine are simple signs ie: Happy Anniversay WARTSE,

I print it , using my computer to make two signs, about 1/2 letter size. fold one, glue to back of the other. The other would be correct ie Happy Birthday Stewart.

I like to do this at the begining, I make my own hearts the same way. I've also used shapes for a small child's sea theme party, I did a starfish. I've seen others do it with Sunday comic [but you have to make sure to use the same two].

Being willing to learn is a great place to start Orange. Welcome to the Forum. Please tell us more abuot yourself. We are a curious bunch of clowns, that is who we keep learning more and more. Take your time and read any or all of the old posts there is a lot of information laying around. And if you want to finish the filing when you are done reading they are in reverse alphabetical order skipping every letter, z,x,v...
