My First Clown Face
Well folks the avatar is a small version of a pic of my first clown face, I tried to access my album to put the full versions up but allas to no avail, I will host them on webshots and post a link soon.
As of August 23, 2006 @ 8:30pm I have become a Shriner In Melha Shrine Temple and will join the Shrine Clown unit September 1st. and they informed me that I will be in clown face for 2 Parades at the end of September One of which will be at the Big "E" so I have alot of work to do to refine my face and tweak it the way I want it to be. They liked Fast Eddie for my Hobo name, and shot down Astro as a clown name saying kids would not understand it.. I disagree but it will give me a clown to work on for outside of the Shrine.

Help needed
One thing I noticed once I had the face on is that when I smile my lips do not turn up into a smile (specially if I try to smile with out showing my teeth) but just streatch out wider straight across. Can anyone think of a mouth design that will benefit from this and still look happy? My lips look more like a grimce than a smile all the smile seems to be in my eyes LOL.

it's recommended that you don't bring your smile out farther than the mid eye range, but try making your lower lip larger. I have a simular problem and I actually place the curve for my lower lip down about 1/2 cm, this gives me more of a smile. I ask an instructor for suggestions he's other suggestion was to bring the pits in a little more, for me I didn't like the look on me so I just dropped my lip, but try it, it might work for you.

Try bringing your muzzle down (white) further down on to your chin. Also, try painting you lower lip black.
Also, no toothpaste in the word can stand u against clown white. Learn to smile with you r mouth open, covering your teeth with youe lips. It works for me.
Btw, Your face looks really good!

Update to my clown face as seen in my avatar, the last one was painted on me By Poppie my sponsor into the Shriners and the Clown unit. I felt it looked too Auguste so this is my very first attempt at painting my own face. It took me a little over an hour and I am already seeing room for improvments like lowering the beard line down the cheeks. I met up with Papa Jamz at my first Clown Alley #225 Meeting last night. Several wonderful clowns there some I knew some I did not. I even met a few more Shrine Clowns I had not met before.
It was suggested I go with a lighter red for the skin tone and put a touch of red on the cheeks for sunburn, I was thinking the whole skin area outside the white and the beard was the sunburn :-o see I am learning.
I am also wanting to do something with the white around the eyes maybe pulling it out to points at the outer corners as if I rubbed my eyes to wipe the train soot off and drug my hands outwards away from the eyes like one does rubbing sleep from their eyes. will keep you posted.
Princess If I were to send you the origional sized pics could you put some of them into the photo area for some reason I am not able to access the fast eddie album I thought I had made, I will try again shortly though.
(Let me know what you all think of my signature)
