Gumball --

Looks GREAT! Especially for a first-ever face!

It will change over time, as will your costume and
character. But there is nothing wrong with this
face and costume at all.

Keep us posted on your journey through clowning!

I like the look! All this in a month? Wow, I wish I could have moved along that quickly. Next week: Gumball runs away and joins the circus!

You look adorable! I love the gumballs on the shoes! It's great!

I'd pin the straps. Even if they stay up most of the time, those times that they slip, you'll wish you pinned them.

I love the makeup! You look very friendly and approachable! Great job!

One more thing...

Check your seams. If they are unfinished (that is, no overlock stitch or zigzag cut) you may want to get a bottle of "fray-check". Put it on the edges of your seam allowances to prevent fraying and your costume will last longer. If you get some, be very careful to apply it only to the edge of the seam allowance. If it goes through to the front of the fabric, it will leave a stain.
