It depends on what clown I am at the time. As a white face I wear full finger gloves & as a hobo I wear fingers cut off

Silly, gloves go on your hands, not you feet.

Ditto about the cut=offs. I hate wearing gloves when I'm facepainting, so cut-offs work well. JAMZ--where'd you get that 8foot glove? Sounds awesome!

Hey, does anyone here use arm warmers? Those usually stretch up to the bottom of your hand and have a thumbhole to keep them in place. They're alot like fingerless gloves, and I think they look good on girl clowns. I just got a rainbow pair with matching leg warmers.

Fray check can be purchased at most fabric or sewing stores - in the notion section. It can make the edges stiff which may not be comfortable on gloves.

I use full when in white face. But I've been thinking about getting the fingerless, If I'm doing some magic or balloons I don't wear them.

Depending on what clown I am, and what I am gonna be doing.

Jasper uses fingerless, brown jersy gloves.

Doc and Cornelius uses White theatrical gloves.

If I am in a winer or cold weather parade as Jasper I will use white gloves with the brown jersy overe the top of the white ones.

On my gloves the fingers are made to come off as I perform - I will start out with all ten fingers and during the performance I will start loosing my glove fingers. The kids end up with the fingers. Each finger will turn out to be a finger puppet. I will always have enough finger puppet for all the kids. The truth is I trade the glove fingers for the finger puppet when the kids are watching the performance and not paying attention to what I'm doing. So that a way I can use my gloves over and over.
